Refund & Cancellation
Why we don't refund a published invitation — and when we do.
Sambaram is a one-time digital service, not a subscription. Before you pay, you already see your actual invitation — your names, photographs, ceremonies and story, in the design you chose, with an "UNPAID PREVIEW" watermark. Unlocking it removes that watermark and publishes it at your own address. Because you've seen the finished thing before paying, we don't offer refunds after that point — with one exception, below.

01Before you pay
Nothing is charged until you reach Unlock & Publish and complete payment. Building, previewing, switching designs and sharing the watermarked preview link with family are all free, and you can stop at any point without owing anything.
02After you pay
Your payment (₹ 2,999 for a year, ₹ 4,999 for a lifetime) is final once your invitation publishes. We don't offer refunds for a change of mind, a wedding that is postponed or cancelled, or because a guest couldn't open the link on their phone — that last one is almost always fixable, and hello@sambaram.in will help.
If a payment fails at checkout, nothing is charged and your invitation stays exactly as it was — try again whenever you're ready.
03When we do refund you
In full, automatically, if Sambaram is at fault: payment is taken but your invitation fails to publish, or you are charged more than once for the same invitation. Write to us and we'll confirm and refund within a few working days.
A refunded invitation is taken offline automatically — it stays saved and editable, but stops being publicly reachable, since a refund should never leave an invitation quietly live that no one has paid for.
04Taking your invitation down isn't the same as a refund
You can take a published invitation offline yourself at any time, at no cost, and bring it back later — this doesn't refund your payment, and your remaining hosting time is preserved, not lost. Deleting an invitation permanently is separate again, and also doesn't trigger a refund.
05How to reach us
Write to hello@sambaram.in or message us on WhatsApp — the link is in the footer of every page. Tell us your invitation's address (the sambaram.in/wedding/… link) and what happened; we reply within one working day.
